Lance Mackey maintains his first place by nearly 2 hours, at 12 miles in front of 2nd place team Hans Gatt, who passed Jeff King in Elim. Jeff left after an hour and 15 minutes. Hans is moving almost one mile per hour faster than Lance, the rest times will be the difference.
Ken Anderson, Hugh Neff and John Baker are racing within an hour and 15 minutes of each other.
