Nome is a busy place, as the teams keep coming in. The top
twenty have already finished.
Reports of severe weather on the bay has forced some teams
to hunker down before reaching Koyuk, with numerous others stopped in
Shaktoolik.
Thomas Waerner wins the Rookie of the Year award over Jason
Campeau by an hour and twenty minutes.
The back of the pack have all made it to the coast, with the
exception of Cindy Abbott, who is on her way to Unalakleet.
With long-time racer Jim Lanier scratching, ten teams are out
of the race.
