At 12:30pm ET, based on tracker information, Ray Redington, Jr. and Hugh Neff have cleared The Happy River Steps and are approaching Rainy Pass. They will likely rest several hours and then move down The Dazell Gorge to Rohn while it is still light out. Lance Mackey, Aliy Zirkle and Jim Lanier have also cleared The Steps.
Paul Gephardt is next, followed by Kelley Griffin, Cim Smyth and Jeff King.
Much of the pack is in Finger Lake, or on the trail from Skwentna.
More will be clear later as the checkpoint standings are published.
